LAN .dem
Read demos recorded in a LAN environment and inspect their parsed movement data.
Imagine you want to watch an old-school CS 1.6 KZ or HNS demo from 10β15 years ago. Well, you do not need to install CS 1.6 and load the demo yourself anymore. Public Demo View lets you upload your own .dem files from LAN or public servers and watch the movement, graph and replay directly in the browser. If you run a CS 1.6 server, the .amxx plugin can also send finished runs here automatically. Browsing runs, search, movement statistics, graphs and replay are open to everyone without logging in. Steam sign-in is needed only when you want to upload your own .dem file.
Read demos recorded in a LAN environment and inspect their parsed movement data.
Upload demos recorded on public/online servers and replay the movement extracted from them.
The server plugin detects timer start/end and can publish completed runs within seconds.
Watch old-school CS 1.6 demos directly in your browser from the classic archive. Free for everyone - no membership and no Steam sign-in required.
Recording begins when the player presses the start timer and uploads after the end timer is reached.
The platform presents demo/run data, graphs, patterns, commands and movement playback.
The original demo does not need to be kept. Only the data currently needed for graphs and replay is stored.
If a required map is missing, the site can notify the visitor and it can be added to the web server later.
Public Demo View does not have paid plans anymore. If you enjoy the project and want to help with hosting, maps and development, you can make an optional donation.
You can browse runs, search, view SteamIDs, inspect FOG and bhop statistics, open graphs and watch replays without logging in. Steam sign-in is required only when you want to upload your own .dem file.
Built for runners, server owners, old-school KZ players, HNS players, Deathrun communities and everyone who still loves movement data.
